This is the maiden voyage of my Telecaster. She started life as a 2000 American Series Nasville B-Bender with a Texas Special Strat pup in the middle position.
The body was just too heavy with the bender in it, and I never learned to use it effectively. I sold the body and bender a couple years ago and the rest of the parts languished. Traded the Texas Special to a friend for a set of pups from a Tokai AST-62.

I bought an American Series Tele body off ebay a few months ago, and just had my tech, Shirley, install a 3-way switch. It looks cool with the original pickguard with a hole cut for the middle pup, but the body isn't routed for one.
